Free Crochet Princess Crown Pattern.   by Regina Deemer

Every girl deserves to feel like a princess especially on their birthday, so I decided to crochet a birthday crown.  Playing dress up is what little girls like to do.  They love to wear pretty dresses, high heels,  getting into their mom’s makeup  and trying on all kinds of hats, especially crowns.  For this crochet crown I decided to use a chunky yarn.  I love the look of the yarn and it works up quick.  You must use the yarn in the directions.  If you do not use the yarn recommended in the directions, your crown will flop and not stand up.  If you would like to use a thinner yarn I recommend using a cotton yarn and a crochet hook the yarn calls for.  For a stiffer crown use a spray starch and and place your crown on a foam head, cap drying rack or something similar and let stand to dry.  Have fun and I hope you enjoy making this pattern as much as I did.
